Here is our update regarding the recently enacted Fringe Benefits Tax exemption for electric cars.
After we did some numbers, we were surprised at just how valuable the exemption can be. A plug-in hybrid electric car costing $18,000 more than the equivalent petrol model is still 41% cheaper to own and maintain.
